Nehar Sahibi, located near the banks of Sahibi river in najafgarh area of Delhi is established in 2019 with the vision to restore and propagate the natural flora and fauna of agricultural land in Najafgarh, New Delhi.
Nehar Sahibi is an urban farming and community space that’s primed to encourage a sustainable, low-carbon, and nature-first lifestyle. We achieve this not just by cultivating seasonal crops on the land, but also by implementing regenerative techniques, permaculture design, and community involvement.
At Neher Sahibi’s vast Market Garden, we cultivate seasonal organic vegetables for local consumption, bearing in mind the weather patterns, sustainably available water, and of course, our own mindfulness.
Nehar Sahibi, an urban haven where nature thrives, is now a home to plethora of species of birds, butterflies, moths, reptiles, moths and many species of native flora.
